My Prayer For "My Next Thirty Years"

Heavenly Father, teach me to number my days that I may gain a Heart
of Wisdom and fulfill your purpose for my life today.

Good morning.  Up early and a little ahead of the day.  Slept well and feel good.  Cool front moves in tonight and a cold front moves in Friday night - temps will only reach mid 70's this weekend.  It will be just right for me to get a lot of work done to start the month of November.  Boys will be here for Thanksgiving!

Day 1635 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time.  Today, I will remember that there are no "do overs" - but today is my chance to "do better!"

Today is MMM and work at the Family Store.  A lot of work to do at the store today, but some think I do not do enough, or my share - the kids working there have this 'fair' thing in their head but have not thought it through.

Yesterday was a good day.  Well, at least I didn't not...!

Tomorrow is Friday.  Doris's birthday, looking forward to a good evening.  Just got to get through the day!

GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS

Psalm 150:6 - Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.  Praise the Lord (Hallelujah)!

Proverbs 30:33 - For as the churning of milk produces butter, and wringing the nose produces blood, so the forcing of wrath produces strife.

Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 4) - Luke 21,22

Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "Negating the Word of God"  ( Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which you were taught, whether by word or our epistle. - II Thessalonians 2:15 )  Think about the religious traditions in your own life today.  How many are conscious choices, consistent with Scripture, and how many are not?  Corrupt practices are the genuine fruit and product of corrupt principles.

MMM - just some thoughts:  (1) Friends are no longer those whom I can use for my own pleasure or profit.  (2) ...do I remember that MY opinions come from MY experience?  (3) I sometimes get tired of being taught!  (4)  ...when I try to explain the way I was thinking.

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
