Happy Birthday to my wife, Doris - I forget her age!

Good morning.  Still warm and will be hot today.  But will drop into the mid 50's tonight.  It is a beautiful morning and is going to be a great day.

Day 1636 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time.  Today, I will remember to be more like what I want everyone else to be like.

Today is MMM and work at the Family Store.  They are having a Halloween lunch today.  Tonight we are going to dinner - probably at Red Lobster - and then to the mall to get some Yankee Candles.  I also want to stop at Marks & Morgan to see what it would cost to replace my watch that was stolen.

Yesterday was a good day.  Went to the gym (at MMHS) just to see if I liked it better than Golds - I don't know - will have to think about it some more.  Was tired - my phone said I topped 11,000 steps yesterday (4.8 miles).

Tomorrow is work around the house and yard.  And I have to finish putting up the canopy for Doris.  Getting things ready for Beth, Bob, Zach, and Zoey - they are coming for a cookout Sunday and watch the Airshow from our back yard.

GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS

Psalm 119:176 - I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek Your servant,  for I do not forget Your commandments.

Proverbs 31:10,11,12 - Who can find a virtuous wife?  For her worth is far above rubies.  The heart of her husband safely trusts her; so he will have no lack of gain.  She does him good and not evil all the days of her life.  Happy Birthday Doris - I found a virtuous wife.

Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 4) - Luke 23,24

Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "Saved to Serve"  ( For you, brethren, have een called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one anothr. - Galatians 5:13 )  Look for an opportunity today to serve someone in your life.  Serve then as Christ would serve -- sacrifically and unconditionally.

MMM - just some thoughts:  (1) I am content!  I do not wish for things I cannot have.  (2) Avoid controversy - forceng others to accept my will!  (3) My excesses get in the way of my successes.

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike

"Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him - that is the most sublime utterance of faith in the whole of the Bible."
