Heavenly Father, teach me to number my days that I may gain a Heart
of Wisdom and fulfill your purpose for my life today.

Good morning.  Up early this morning, before the alarm.  Slept well.  Warm an humid this morning - not as warm ans as humid as it was though.  Cloudy, so we will probably not be able to see the lunar eclipse this morning.

Day 1613 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time.  Today, I will remember to measure my progress by where I am, not where I want to be.  I have a long way to go, and I have come a long way to get here.

Today is A & E and work at the Family Store.  The little boys will be here some time late this evening.  I will go to the gym after work and then come home and help Doris finish getting things ready for Kelli and the boys.  Alicia will be over some time this morning to help her mom.

Yesterday was a good day.  Short handed at work but got it all done - all that I could do anyway.  Doris called about 12:30 from the ER - she fell and dislocated her right shoulder.  Bad things just keep happening.  I called Alicia - she was off work and went to help!  Everything is OK - just had not expected this.  Just another rock to climb over!

Tomorrow is Thursday - last day of my short week.  I will have a weekend taking care of the boys and Doris and whatever else happens.

The 14th is Alicia last day of work - packing up for Ohio. We leave on the  20th.  So my 'vacations' this year will consist of a week working in Haiti, and a week moving my daughter.  I need a vacation from my vacations.

I am still angry at God for the loss of my watch, and now for Doris' fall - can see any good in either event

GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS

Psalm 40:11,13 - Do not withhold Your tender mercies from me, O Lord; let Your lovingkindness and Your truth continually preserve me.  Be pleased, O Lord, to deliver me;  O Lord, make haste to help me!

Proverbs 8:35,36 - For whoever finds me finds life, and obtains favor from the Lord; but he who sins against me wrongs his own soul; all those who hate me love death.  ('me' = wisdom)

Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 4) - Matthew 18 - 20

Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "Wherever He Goes"  (These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes.  Revelation 14:4)  Follow the Lamb every step of the way, and let your prayer be:  "Wherever You lead, I will go."

A & E @ McD - AJ and I - work is going well for him.  Tony is not doing well.  Jim is.

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike

"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."
