Good morning. Woke up early but did not get up until 5:30. I am going to start getting up when I wake up - maybe I will feel better. It is cool and mostly clear this morning, dry and no wind. It is a beautiful morning! Warming up to low 80s for he coming week.
Day 1665 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time. Today, I will remember that God is my inspiration and that I am God's instrument!
Today is MMM and a Saturday without any plans. But there is plenty to do and that really needs to be done. I wish the boys were here - then I would have both 'help' getting things done and an excuse for not getting things done!
I need to do some work on the Expo - noticed a puddle of fresh oil underneath it - it needs so much work. I just do not have the money to get it worked on and do not have the skill or tools or time to do it all myself. I will do what I can.
Yesterday was a good day. A very long day at work but it went well. Sadly, the birthday party was over by the time I got home and everyone was already gone. I so wanted to give the boys a good by hug before they went home. I did get to see them for a few minutes when they all came to the store to pick up the dresser and mattress they bought.
Tomorrow is Church - the last Sunday of November. A busy December and January and then the missions trip to Haiti. Actually we are planning two missions trips this year - out Haiti trip and then the college age group are going to Morocco for an "tourist evangelism" trip working with an established ministry. Praying for a music and worship leader for our services - I miss the piano and organ so much!
GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS
Psalm 141:8,9 - But my eyes are upon You, O God the Lord; in You I take refuge; do not leave my soul destitute. Keep me from the snares they have laid for me, and from the traps of the workers of iniquity.
Proverbs 29:5 - A man who flatters his neighbor spreads a net for his feet.
Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 4) - II Corinthians 5 - 8
Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "Gratuity Not Included: Servers" ( The natives showed us unusual kindness... - Acts 28:2 ) Go out of your way to smile at the guy behind the counter. Be pleasant to the woman on the phone. Tip when appropriate. Be a pleasure to serve. Show unusual kindness. A dash of gratitude can brighten the skies of others and represent Christ to their hearts.
MMM - just a thought: There are no exceptions to God grace, but many expressions!
Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
