Good morning. Up with the alarm - somehow the alarm got set for 5:02 - I must have hit the wrong button sometime. Mid 50s, clear, dry - typical South Florida winter morning. It is a beautiful morning and going to be a busy day.
Day 1683 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time. Today, I will remember that in the 'tug of war' with my will and God's will; when I win I lose, and when God wins I win!
Today is MMM and work at the FS. It is down to the wire and we cannot but anything else off - got to get things ready for our trip to Georgia. After work I may go over to help Doris at Cooley's - getting things cleaned up and ready to paint when next week.
Yesterday was a good day. Got a lot of work done at the store and did not hurt anyone! Cooked out and rested mostly - worked on putting my laundry away and cleaned up the Expo a little.
Tomorrow is Friday - leaving at noon to see the boys, YooHoo! Leaving Honey home alone but we will be back home late Saturday night.
Next Thursday is Christmas! I will have a long weekend - the store is closed on Thursday and Friday, paid holiday (except for us part-time employees). I may need to work Saturday to make up for hours lost. But we will have the other kids that weekend - picking them up Christmas day evening.
GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS
Psalm 87:3 - Glorious things are spoken of you, O City of God!
Proverbs 18:7 - A fool's mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul.
Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 4) - I Peter 3 - 5
Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "Self-judgement" ( For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged. - I Corinthians 11:31 ) Self-judgement, the examination of our life, should be a daily discipline based on the promise of God's gracious forgiveness.
MMM - just some thoughts: (1) "gentle'mens' meeting at the Hall at 9:00, Saturdays. (2) Step Study, one day a week - HOP. (3) It is easier to understand the heart of God than the mind of God! (4) If advice worked...!
Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
