It is Christmas Eve Day!
Good morning. I did not sleep so well last night. Just a lot on a little mind. But slept enough and am rested and ready. It is going to be cooler, more clouds, and probably some rain throughout the weekend - but no coats or boots! And the sun is shining right now - it is a beautiful morning.
Day 1689 - Living "My Next Thirty Year" one day at a time. Today, I will remember that the events of life are rarely as good as we hoped, and never as bad as we had expected, but always within the bounds of His will! His grace is sufficient, and His mercy endures forever!
Today is A & E with AJ and work at the Family Store. Short day, store closes at 12:30 for our annual Christmas Luncheon. Ten we will be closed the 25th and the 26th. And I am off Saturday - so I have a 4 day weekend. But I will also lose two days pay! Christmas Eve service tonight at church and after church we are going to drive around looking at the Christmas light shows.
Yesterday was a good day. Finally took time to go to the gym. Felt better for going. Doris did not feel good - so she went shopping.
Tomorrow is Christmas Day. Happy Birthday, Jesus! I open and setup for MMM. We are leaving to go get the girls about noon and will probably stop at Golden Coral for Christmas Dinner with them on the way back.
Doris has the whole weekend with just her and the two girls.
GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS
Psalm 117 - Praise the Lord, all you nations! Praise him all you people! For His merciful kindness is great toward us, and the truth of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord!
Proverbs 24:32-34 - When I saw it, I considered it well; I looked on it and received instruction: a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest: so hall your poverty come like a prowler, and your need like an armed man.
Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 4) - Revelation 3 - 5
Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "
A & E @ McD - AJ committed to me to go to Haiti this one last time. We talked fear - our greatest fear is getting to old to fear, to old to care. We thought about meeting Jesus and agreed that we wanted to meet Him sober, but more, we wanted to meet him saved!

Mike
