Good morning.  Slept better last night but am still hurting.  I am really getting tired of not being able to do anything with out hurting.  I am in a very discouraged about everything today.  I know I can not and will not quit - but I want too!

Day 1669 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time.  Today, I will remember that everything that I am worrying about are "possible consequences" of future events.  So far today, everything is almost ok.

Today is A&E with AJ and work at the Family Store.  May make a trip to the walk-in clinic today for my back.  Got to pick up the washer and dryer Doris bought from the store yesterday.  We got a good deal - now if only I had some help getting it unloaded and hooked up.  I have help loading them, I think.Way too much to so with my bad back - but...!

Yesterday was a good day.  I made it through.  Doris did some more packing at Cooleys.  I spent the evening in the chair with a heating pad on my back.

Hope not to hurt myself today and that I will feel better tomorrow.

Every day a new challenge!

GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS

Psalm 12: 6,7 - The words of the Lord are pure words, like silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.  You shall keep them, O Lord, from this generation forever.

Proverbs 3:5,6 - Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your path.

Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 4) - Ephesians 1 - 3

Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "Cold Feet"  ( Asa became diseased in his feet, and his malady was severe; yet in his disease he did not seek the Lord. - II Chronicles 16:12 )   Ask God today for a tender conscience, and a closer walk with him.  Seek God First!

A & E @ McD - Talked about my car - the loud noise in the engine - he said it was probably a timing belt slip that is causing the piston to "slap" - I do not know.  I guess I will just stop driving it.  Walking would be good for my back anyway.

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
