Medical Team "13
Good morning.  Up with the alarm.  Slept well, am rested and ready for this day.  Chores are done, all
is quiet, except for Marv's snoring.  Cloudy today and in the low 70s - weather will improve as later this week and weekend.  It is a beautiful morning.

Day 1717 - Living "MNTY" one day at a time.  Today, I will remember that God is the only one who can wish anything into existence - the rest of us have to work.

Today is MMM and work at the Family Store.  Hope to get to the gym if Doris has no other plans.  We may go see "American Sniper" after dinner.  At least that is a thought of mine.  The last word on the subject is never mine.  And that is the last word on that subject!  Got to find time to mow this week - may have to wait until Saturday morning.

Yesterday was a good day.  Nothing happened that I have to fix or apologize for anyway!  I got home about 6:00.  I was a little more careful riding my bike home in traffic at twilight. Doris fixed a big pot of chicken and noodles and brought me home a big sugar cookie from Panera's - well what was left of it!

Tomorrow is Wednesday  - A & E with AJ, work, and church.  Dollar day at the Store and I may have to go out on the truck if it goes out.  We are still one driver short.

Jean and Marv will be here thru the weekend - will hate to see them go, we have enjoyed there stay but they are getting anxious to see there grandkids.  We are hoping that some of my family will come done sometime to see us too - well not just to see us but to escape the north too.

Still praying and waiting on God for his will concerning a car for me - I can live without it and am willing to do so, but ...

MY RUDDER AND ANCHOR!

Psalm 91:4 - He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.

Proverbs 20:24 - A man's steps are of the Lord; How then can a man understand his own way?

The Word is Alive in 1 - 5   (Reading Exodus 8-10)  The person who is most deceived is the one who believes he can worship the Lord on his own terms.

From "Knowing God" by J. I. Packer:  Evidences of Knowing God - Those who know God, have great thoughts of God.  He knows and fore-knows all things.  God is "I AM!"

MMM - just some thoughts: (1) Congratulations, M.L. on 12 years!  (2) Show up, speak up, shut up!  (3) Here is where we can learn...to trust.  (4)   Thinking is not acting, but do not act without thinking.  (5) Accept the moment which allows judgement to become discernment.  (6) There is - space - between impulse and action.

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike

May Christ so dwell in our hearts
 with His indestructible joy
that day by day we are conformed more and more
to His glad image.
