My Prayer For "My Next Thirty Years"

Heavenly Father, teach me to number my days that I may gain a Heart
of Wisdom and fulfill your purpose for my life today.

Good morning.  Slept well, well almost.  Arm hurt from the Pneumonia shot I got yesterday and I was up early.  But feel good this morning.  Trudging the dull, daily, drudge of duty - well maybe a little better than that.

Day 1803 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time.  Today, I will remember that anger is a response to perceived injustice; humility is a response to received grace.

Today is MMM and work at the FS.  Rosemarie is gone - yesterday was her last day.  Teresa is off today.   Got to get to the Gym after work - have been putting it off all week.  I have just got to go every day right after work to keep in the routine.  Going to get the paint this evening.  may get the mowing done tonight so that I can start on the painting prep tomorrow.  Hoping for good weather - it is all good but I cannot paint in the rain.

Yesterday was a good day.  1802 good days and counting.  Any day that I do not drink, drug, or die is a good day.  Went to the doctor yesterday - he said I was in good shape for the shape I was in.  Wants to see me again in a month.

Tomorrow is Saturday - spring cleaning and house painting (would rather be at the beach fishing the surf).  Maybe I can do that with the boys when they are here in June.

MY RUDDER AND ANCHOR!

Psalm 84:10 - For a day in Thy courts is better than a thousand.  I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

Proverbs 17:1 - Better is a dry morsel, and quietness therewith, than an house full of sacrifices with strife.

The Word Alive in 1 - 5  (Reading II Samuel 6 - 9)

Morning and Evening with Spurgeon - It is only by daily coming to Christ alone that you will find joy and comfort.

MMM - Just some thoughts:  (1) ... the good things that have come into my new life. (2) ... a more sure abiding faint in God and His purposes. (3) Live your way to good thinking! (4) Explaining God presence is like explaining water to a fish.

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
