Good morning. Warm and cloudy this morning - hope it clears up early. Up early, woke up several times thru the night. But feel good and am looking forward to a productive day. A lot depends on the weather.
Day 1804 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time. Today, I will remember there is a thousand forms of fear, but love conquers them all. (I Corinthians 13)
Today is MMM and work around the house - getting ready to paint - if Doris can finally decide on the color. I think we have decided on the light blue. The two other times we painted the house she did not get to pick the color - this time it is all up to her. Going to the gym early and then I will get busy around the house. We may go get the paint this afternoon too. This evening we are having steaks on the charcoal grill - much cheaper than going out and really better.
Yesterday was a good day. Went to the gym after work and did a little with my arms for the first time in two weeks. Easing into it - low reps and minimum weight.
Tomorrow is church and rest.
Looking ahead, next week, Monday, I have an eye appoint. Nothing else planned but maybe painting - I want to get it done as soon as possible. I hope it does not take as long to paint it as it did to decide on what color to paint it. Working next Saturday so I can take the following Tuesday off to take Ray and Marylee to the Orlando - they are going back to New York for the summer.
MY ANCHOR AND RUDDER!
Psalm 89:1 - I will sing of the mercies of the Lord for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.
Proverbs 18:24 - A man that hath friends must show himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticks closer that a bother.
The Word Alive in 1 - 5 (Reading II Samuel 19,20)
Morning and Evening with C. H. Spurgeon - My nature is built into the wall of humanity; and yet, when destruction smites the race, I will be secure. My soul, tie the scarlet thread in the window afresh and rest in peace. (Joshua 2:21)
MMM - just some thoughts: (1)
Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
