THANKSGIVING DAY, 2015

HAPPY THANKSGIVING DAY!

Good morning, it is a beautiful morning.  Really, it is!!!  Slept later this morning, but not much later.  Wish all of my family were here but we are alone, but not lonely - we know that our children are with their families.

Day 2130 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time.  Today I will remember that the more thankful I am, the less restentful I am.  "Little is much when God is in it!"

Today is MMM and Thanksgiving dinner at the Cooleys.  We are takeing a pie and a cheeze ball.  Marylee wanted to do it all.  I think this is here first thanksgiving without their family.  A few chores this morning but not much.  Donnie has already called and talked to Doris.  I am sure Doris will talk to a lot of family today.  I think it is in her mind that this may be here last holiday season!  She is feeling her chemo a lot more now.  Still not sick but tires and her skin is giving here some concern.  I do not know what to do, I have so much to do and there is so much I cannot do.  It is one day a time and I am thankful for each day that I am physically, emotionally, and spritually able to help.

Yesterday was a good day.  Did what I had to do and a little more, and did it to the best of my ability.  Took the clutch hydralick line off the car and ordered another one - it will be here Friday morning. Hope to get it put on and have the car running again  by Friday afternoon.  We went to Walmart while we still had Cooleys car.

Tomorrow is all about getting the Mazda running.  We have determined to get unclutter - getting ready of "stuff" that has accumlated and is just taking up space.  I look at Doris, and she looks at me and we both say, "you first!"

If all goes well I want to go to the ocean Saturday morning for a while.  I really need a little time to get away.  May happen, probably will not.  I need to get a haircut too.  Oh, and there is still the painting to finish before Christmas.  The list is long, and the time is short!

The boys will be here for a couple of days before Christmas.  YooHoo!!!

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
