My Prayer For "My Next Thirty Years"

Heavenly Father, teach me to number my days that I may gain a Heart
of Wisdom and fulfill your purpose for my life today.

Tuesday, January 5, 2016

Good morning, It is hard to believe that it is the fifth of the month already!  My birthday is just 6 days a way!!!  Cloudy and cool this morning, but not as cool as yesterday.  A pretty normal start for the first full week of the new year.  It is a beautiful morning.

Day 2168 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time.  Today, I will remember that it is not a matter of cannot as much as a matter of willnot.

Today is MMM and work at the FS.  At the store it is all about getting ready for tomorrow, the first Wednesday of the month - The first "dollar day" of the month.  Gym after work and then I need to get my "year end"  desk clean up done (I know I am a few days late).  Getting ready for tax season - pretty easy for us any more.  We have spent all our "disposalble" income on Medical Expenses this year.  And will be for years to come I guess!

Yesterday was a good day.  Long wait for a short meeting with Dr. Rosen.  Have scheduled a CT scan for the 20th and another appoint with Dr. Rosen on the 25th.  Then seeing Dr. Penillie on the 26th.  That is 400 dollars in the month of January just in co-pays.  With no medical treatment - just appointments!!!

Tomorrow is hump day - Please, Lord, help me get over the hump!  But is is just the next "one day at a time!"

Thursday is our trip to Orlando to get the Cooleys.  We will be taking their car.  We do not take my mazda out of town.  I would but Doris would worry every mile of the way.  It does need brakes and tires but is ok for driving to work and to the store (and to the local Drs appointment).  And to church, of course.  At our age, what else is there?

Running late, slept later this morning so I will finish this post later.

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike and Doris
