Heavenly Father, teach me to number my days that I may gain a Heart
of Wisdom and fulfill your purpose for my life today.

Monday, January 4, 2016

Good morning, the first Monday of the new year!  And it is cold - I have two long sleved shirts on this moring.  And it is wet, it has beening raining all night - not hard or heavy but jus enough to keep it wet and uncomfortable.  But it is a beautiful morning!

Day 2167 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time.  Today, I will remember that, if this is "as good as it gets." it is still a lot better that it was!

Today is A & E @ McD with AJ.  We have moved it to Monday because the Men's Bible Study has been moved to Wednesday.  I am not comfortable with change, with out knowing why.  But no one ask me so I guess no one care about my comfort.  We talked about the need for more teaching on the ministry of the Holy Spirit in the present age (dispensation).  I am beginning to read a book titled "The Left Hand of God" on just that.

It is back to work today - I have been off 4 days but now have to work 6 days - it is my Saturday to work.  I really do not want to work Saturdays.  I really do not want to work at all, but expect to till ... ?

Doris has an appointment with Dr. Rosen at 3:30 - I will go with her.

Yesterday was a good day.  After church I cleaned out the Cooley's car, while Doris fixed dinner.  She is feeling a little better.

Tomorrow is Tuesday - nothing planned yet.  Just staying in and keeping warm.  Maybe clean out the Mazda - the deacons got it for me a year ago this month and it has been a great blessing.  Especially since the van was totaled.  God provides!

Thursday we pick up the Cooleys in Orlando.  I will have to take off work early but Doris is not comfortable making the trip herself.  It will be crowded in the car with five adults and one dog.

"TIL THE STORM PASSES OVER"

Psalm 16:6 - The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.

Proverbs 4:7 - Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom:  and with all your getting get understanding.

Leaning on the Word in Sixteen - (Reading Genesis 10-12) The only assurance of not being deceived in this age of lawlessness is knowing the Word of God and a personal relationship with Jesus.

Hope or Each Day (with Billy Graham) - "The Promise Is Ours!"  The greatest promise is the promise of His presence - even unto the end of the age.

A & E @ McD - Sheep are sheep and goats are goats.

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike and Doris

"Always Always Means Always!"
