Good morning. Cooler and cloudy this morning, but I am sure it will clear up soon. No rain, yet! It is a beautiful morning.
Day 2212 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time. Today I will remember that often enduring can be turned to enjoying simply by a change in attitude. But sometimes I just have to endure it now and enjoy it later.
Today is MMM and work around the house and yard. Doris will want to go to Walmart this morning and this evening she is going to the Booth Brothers concert with Marylee and I am staying with Ray. I want to to to the gym, to the flea market, and to the beach - but...not today.
Yesterday was a good day. I was at the register at the store, had to leave early - too many hours. They make me work all day on holidays, but won't let me get the benefit of extra hours. Oh, well!
Got the back yard mowed and a little trimming - a lot of trimming left to do.
Tomorrow is church. Mission Conference begins next Sunday.
I leave for Guatemala two weeks from today. It is a new place and new mission - not sure what to pack, but it will not matter - some one will tell me. I am excited and really looking forward to the trip - getting out of my self and out of my "comfort zone" to help others. It will be a lot different than Haiti, but I still want to make a short trip to Haiti to check on the work we did there.
Doris has a Drs appoint Monday. Dr Penelli called last evening and asked Doris to see a Radiolgist to discuss Radition - she thinks it may help a long term prognosis. We will discuss it with Dr Rosen.
Just when we thought it was over...?
