Good morning. It rained last evening, my rain buckets are almost full. Doris uses the rain water to water her flowers - she says it is better for the plants. And she drinks bottled water! So I guess it evens out the cost of water. Since the connected us to the sewer system, our water utilities bill has more than doubled. But it is a beautiful morning!
Day 2273 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time. Today, I will remember we are not called to a life of ease, but of effort. As old Ben always said, "Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise" - well one for three is not bad!
Today is going to be a busy day. Work, getting ready for the first Wednesday of the month, and then Doris' appointment in Jupiter, followed by dinner at the Justi's. No gym and no homework!
Yesterday was a good day. Changed the oil in the Mazda. Talked with Dominick about the van's rear door and got a good place to start on fixing it - it opens ok but will not stay open. I will try replacing the struts per his suggestion.
Tomorrow is coffee at McD with AJ at 6:30 am and then Bible Study at church at 6:30 pm - and the usual in between - work, work, work!
Texted Jeff - he is going to go back to driving a company truck until they, hopefully, find his! Offered and help I could give. Boys are liking school and sent their love! Going up to see them Labor Day.
Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
