Good morning. Up early and enjoying my morning. Chores are mostly done. The south Florida summer weather pattern has certainly held true this year - sunny mornings, rain sometime in the early afternoon, and then clearing and sunny again by late evening. Beautiful mornings, beautiful evening, hot and humid afternoons! Just the way I like it!!!
Day 1552 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time. Today, I will remember to keep an eye on the exit! ( No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. - I Corinthians 10:13 )
Today is MMM and work at the Family Store. I have to be to work early this morning for our monthly staff meeting. One thing good about the afternoon rains is that I can go to the gym without feeling like I should be doing something else. Tonight is the kitchen, for sure this time, maybe! Have to go to Walmart too - need some catfood. I haven't been there since Doris went to Indiana - haven't needed anything. Haven't been to Publix either, but they have Mini Wheats B1G1 this week and I have a $1. off coupon - YooHoo!!!
Yesterday was a good day. Doris called last evening - her mom is back in the nursing home but still not doing well. She said that she wanted to die at "home" and not in the hospital. I guess home is anywhere when you are with people you know and love.
Tomorrow is Saturday - but I have to work - till 4:30! But I get next Friday off. Got to find time to mow the yard.
Doris is still not sure about when or how she is coming home - it is ok, there are still some hotdogs in the refridgerator.
