Good morning, it is a beautiful morning! Up early but ... just cannot seem to get moving. I seem tired but I think it is just laziness - letting my body control my mind.
Day 1551 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time. Today, I will remember the more full of thanks I am, the more thankful I am.
Today is MMM and work at the Family Store. The gym some time after work and the kitchen sometime before I go to bed are plans for today - I will finally get around to doing the dishes (in the dishwasher). I think I may call the boys tonight.
Yesterday was a good day. Worked on books at the store. Went to church - The kids (young people) who went to camp had the program. I would like to have heard more from the kids and less from the leaders!
Tomorrow is Friday - getting down to the wire - Doris is supposed to start home Sunday. But it all depends on How her mom is doing.
I have to work on Saturday.
GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS
Psalm 33:10 - The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to naught: He makes the plans of the people of no effect.
Proverbs 7:2,3 - Keep My commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye. Bind them upon your fingers, write them upon the tablet of your heart.
Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1-4) - Isaiah 32 - 37
Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "Extravagant Love" ( The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tiding to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captive, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound. - Isaiah 61:1 ) When God's love touches our lives, we are inspired to seek and to love the lost as Jesus did. God's mercy and grace give me hope -- for myself, and for the world.
MMM - just some thoughts: (1) Welcome back Rosemary! (2) This (MMM) is my "assisted living" facility. (3) ...there is now a purpose for my being. (4) It is not a question of whether God can provide a shelter from the storm, but whether or not I seek the security of that shelter.
Saved by Grace . . . Saved by Faith,
Mike
