Good morning. Up late this morning - was up early but sat down in my chair and wondered why I was up so early. But chores done and finally got sat down here at the computer. Less rain today, weather should start improving today. It has been a hot, wet summer!
Day 1549 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time. Today, I will remember that when I get out of the way, I can see better. When I eliminate self, I see others!
Today is MMM and work at the Family Store. I will go to the gym after work. My goal for this evening is to get the bathroom cleaned - that should take the whole evening. But there is no one here to interrupt or interfere (or to motivate). I was supposed to have breakfast with Pastor Phillip, but he canceled - I did not have anything worth saying that I have not already said anyway.
Yesterday was a good day. I was dismissed from jury duty at about 10:00 and was at work at 10:30. So I missed an hour and will not be paid for it since my jury duty was not four hours or more. Went to the gym. It rained most of the afternoon. Did some cooking for the first time since Doris has been gone - fish sticks and potatoes.
Tomorrow is Wednesday - NOT humpday this week since I have to work Saturday.

Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "Warning Signs" (And the Lord God of their fathers sent warning to them by His messengers, rising up early and sending them, because He had compassion on His people. - II Chronicles 36:15) If our Gospel contains no warnings, we are not preaching the "whole counsel of God." If we fail to heed the warnings God sends us, we are endangering our souls.
MMM - just some thoughts: (1) LEARN to rely on "God's Strength" - His ability to make my strength, strong enough. (2) I have a chance to outgrow the limits of my past! (3) I am vulnerable to my own self-interests and hidden agenda.
