Heavenly Father, teach me to number my days that I may gain a Heart
of Wisdom and fulfill your purpose for my life today.

Good morning.  Up early, slept well.  I can definitely feel a difference in the seasons - as I went out to feed the cats and get the paper I could feel fall in the air.  It is a beautiful morning - cooler, drier, clearer, darker and quieter!  I think we are all a little weary of the heat and humidity of the past summer.  Not complaining, just saying what I am thinking.

Day 1593 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time.  Today, I will remember that my greatest temptation is that of  'point of view' - looking at life from my perspective instead of God's!

Today I MMM an work at the Family Store.  Plumber is coming this morning to clean out the kitchen drain.  Going to the gym after work.  Got to go to Lowe's to get some mulch to finish the work at Rays - will do that tomorrow, on my day off!

Yesterday was a good day.  Alicia spent the morning with Doris.  She is talking about getting me a 'train' ticket for my return from Ohio.  That would be interesting.  Israel Cohen, Chosen People Ministries, present their ministry last night a church.  No one mentioned the Frampton's - like they never existed - but I am being dramatic!  It was not the time or place.

Tomorrow begins my three day weekend - will spend it working and maybe I can relax a little on Saturday.  It is going to be a good weekend - hope it does not rain everyday.  But it will not matter much.

GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS

Psalm 89:1 - I will sing of the mercies of the Lord for ever:  with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.

Proverbs 18:9 - He also that is slothful in his work is brother to him that is a great waster.

Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 4) - Daniel 10 - 12

Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - " This Turn of Events"  (Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life. - Psalm 26:6)  When we go from prosperity to poverty, it doesn't change who God is.  His resources are undiminished, and His promises to care for us are unaffected.  Good comes from adversity, and goodness still follows every day until we go to dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

MMM - just some thoughts:  (1)  'ventures of belief'  (2) ...secret places of communion with God - get there every day!  (3) I can be free of my enslaving self by enslaving myself to Him.  (4) Something better than what was!  (5) God speaks directly; we listen in circles!

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
