HAPPY LABOR DAY - WORK HARD!

Good morning.  I have never, or don't not remember ever thinking much about Labor Day.  But I plan to enjoy it and not labor too much.  It is going to be sunny and hot - a great way to start September.  Much better than 10 years ago with Francis and Jean.

Day 1576 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time.  Today, I will remember that storms come.  You prepare, you suffer loss, you clean up the mess, and you go on.  And prepare for the next storm!  Hopefully, it is not a Francis/Jean storm!

Today is MMM and  - not sure - maybe go to Cooleys and work on their place.  They may be coming down in October, but probably not until January because of Ray's rehab.  Got to get it cleaned up anyway.  Alicia and Kara, and Zack are coming for a cookout this afternoon sometime.  May go to the gym before I go to Cooleys.

Yesterday was a good day.  Did just what I planned - nothing!  Church and watched the Cubs - what a waste - watching the Cubs, not church!

Tomorrow is back to work.  I know it will be a mess, a really big mess.  And I will not have any help at all.  Maybe I will be sick!?

Looking forward to seeing my boys this weekend, maybe.

GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS

Psalm 4:5 - Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord.

Proverbs 1:22 - How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?

Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 4) - Ezekiel 1-4

Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "Eyes and Arms Open"  (However, when He, the s\Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth.  John 16:13)  Today, trust that the Holy Spirit is guiding you into all truth.  Live with eyes and arms open to embrace what you discover.

MMM - just some thoughts:  (1) I believed in God, but doubted that God believed in me!  (2) I did not say what I wanted to say, I said what I needed to say.

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
