Good morning. It is the 2nd of September already - let the Season begin! It will be a lonely season for us with no family in Florida for the first time since we moved here in"92. And we have no real friends that we are close to. Just part of growing old...but it won't last long!
Day 1577 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time. Today, I am not surprised at what God does but often amazed at how He does it. It is rarely as I would do it or as I expected Him to do it.
Today is MMM and work at the Family Store. I will go to the gym after work and then home to get some work done - got to get the back room cleaned out. Going to spend the rest of the year getting rid of "stuff!" No more storing of things I will never use and or have no need of.
Yesterday as a good day. Worked at Cooleys condo and got it mostly done - just need to mulch and clean off the patio. Had a cookout with Alicia, Kara, and Zack. A very pleasant day. Probably our last Holiday with family.
Tomorrow is Wednesday - short week. I do not know whether AJ is back yet or not, but I will go to A & E anyway.
This week we are getting ready for the weekend with the boys, maybe!
GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS
Psalm 9:19,20 - Arise, O Lord; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in thy sight. Put them in fear, O Lord: that the nations may know themselves to be but men.
Proverbs 2:1,5 - My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God.
Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 4) - Ezekiel 5 - 9
Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "Divine Foresight" (For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11) Trust the past to the mercy of God, the present to His love, and the future to His providence.
MMM - just some thoughts: (1) Take a step back, into the background, and watch what happen when you are not making it happen. (2) Carry the message, not the mess. (3) The willingness to grow is the essence of all spiritual development.
Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
