Good morning. It is a beautiful morning - no, really, it is a beautiful morning, really! Slept late, well rested. I do not need an alarm clock anymore - my back and my bladder tell me when it is time to get up!
Day 1679 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time. Today, I will remember that the only time Jesus prayed for himself was when He prayed, "not my will, Thine be done."
Today is church and then I am going to the memorial for "Hof" - one of my "anonymous" friends. Maybe some work in and around the house this afternoon - just some cleaning up after the move.
Yesterday was a good day, maybe even a great day. The move went well - better than well! None of my projected disasters happened! I could not have planned it better - I tried, but so much was out of my control that I just "let go and let God!"
I cannot say enough about how gracious, helpful, and really hard working Phillip, Nick, Joe, Brandon, and Seth were. I could not do much and they did so much. Ray and Marylee, Doug and Maureen, and Doris and I were and are so thankful for all your help.
We even had time to go to the mall and get some 'more' Yankee Candles last night. I asked Doris how many candles she needed - she said "one, but I want more!"
Tomorrow is back to work.
We still have a lot of work - cleaning to do at the townhouse. Our plan is to get it done this week before we leave to spend next weekend in Georgia with the boys! Need to get some mowing and trimming done if time allows too.
Still am praying about what to do with my little car - the Lord knows! We can do without a second car - have before, can again if necessary. I still have two good feet, and one good bicycle!
GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS
Psalm 67:5,6 - Come and see the works of God; He is awesome in His doing toward the sons of men. He turned the sea into dry land; they went through the river on foot. They will rejoice in Him.
Proverbs 14:23 - In all labour there is profit, but idle chatter leads only to poverty.
Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 4) - Hebrews 8 - 10
My Notes on "THE SUNDAY SERMON" What a wonderful service this morning - Barb and here helpers did a great job with the Childrens Christmas program. The Ladies ensamble always do a good job. And Phillip preached two good messages - his last message of James (5:19,20) and the introduction to that message.

FAITH THAT WORKS
"A Exposition of the Epistle of James"
(James 5:19,20)
James' last message and warning - There is a test coming, get ready, prepare, practice!
The most terrifying words God will ever say is "Depart from me, I NEVER knew you!"
The Christmas message for us all this morning is "for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost."
James enlists all of us in a "Search and Rescue" mission in these last two verses.
Brethren, I anyone among you wanders from the truth,
and someone turns him from the error of his way will save a soul from death
and cover a multitude of sins.
Four 'Search and Rescue" prerequisites!
1. Love - It may not be comfortable.
2. Integrity - It may not be popular.
3. Prayer - It may not be possible.
4. Humility - It is not by might, nor power, but by My Spirit.
Doctrinal error always lead to or stems from straying from the truth. The truth is, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
(John 14:6)
