Heavenly Father, teach me to number my days that I may gain a Heart

Good morning.  Dry, clear, calm, and in the mid 60s this morning.  It is a beautiful morning.  Up a little later, feeling good, chores all done.  Good morning for a bike ride!

Day 1695 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time.  Today, I will remember that people fail, a lot, but love never fails.

Today is MMM and work at the FS.  Rosa and Rosemarie are both off on vacation so we are really short handed.  I am doing all I can do, and that is all I can do.  Doris is going to rest and get some work done here at home.  After work, I will try to get some yard work done - will be a perfect day to get it done - or at least started.

Yesterday was a good day.  Doris got the girls home safely.  I went to the gym after dinner - I will not do that again.  After my workout I really felt sick and dizzy.  Was ok after sitting a while.  Probably need to drink more before, during and after my routine.

Tomorrow I am off - we will go to the Cooley's to finish up their. The painter should be finished and we should only have a couple hours work left.  But I still have to get the trash and cardboad out of  the garage at their new place.  Then I can pull their car in the garage.  The will be here in a little over a week.

Haiti Team '15 is just 6 week away!  Spaghetti Dinner Fund Raiser Wednesday the 7th. The dates for the trip is Feb 8 - 15, 2015.  I am so excited about this opportunity to get out of myself for at least a week.  My world is way to small and a small world makes for a small heart.

GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS

Psalm 147:11,12 - He does not delight in the strength of the horse; He takes no pleasure in the legs of a man.  The Lord takes pleasure in those who fear Him, in those who hope in His mercy.

Proverbs 30:2 - Surely I am more stupid than any man, and do not have the understanding of a man.  I neither learned wisdom nor have knowledge of the Holy One.

Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 3) - Revelation 19,20

Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "Backward Progress"  ( The backslider in heart will be filled with his own ways, but a good man will be satisfied from above. Proverbs 14:14 )  But how great God's mercy!  He says of the backslider, "I have seen his ways, and will heal him; I will also lead him, and restore comforts to him." (Isaiah 57:17,18).  Now is the time to make forward progress in the Christian life!

MMM - just some thoughts:  (1)  So live that I will not be afraid to die!  (2) Death is ahead - live today.  (3) People fail - a lot!  (4) I get what I need and all that God can trust me with.

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
