| The boys hard at work |
Good morning. Up with the alarm. Chores done. Warm and clear this morning. It is a beautiful morning.
Day 1720 - Living "MNTY" one day at a time. Today, I will remember that acceptance of what is and willingness to change that is the lock and key.
Today is MMM and work at the family store. Will drive my Mazda to work today for the first time. Marv and I are going to the men's bar-b-que tonight at church.
Yesterday was a good day. Started moving the Electrial/Electronics area at work. She is moving everything whether it need it or not. But I can make it work. Went to the DMV and got the Mazda licensed - 173 dollars later. Went to the Gym and gased up the car. Manwich for dinner.
Tomorrow I am off. Need to mow if I get bored. May go to Flee Market and to the beach. Maybe take Jean and Marv to Sukura's for dinner. Just some thoughts, not plans.
MY RUDDER AND ANCHOR!
Psalm 111:2-4 - The works of the Lord are great, studied by all who have pleasure in them. His work is honorable and glorious, and His righteousness endures forever. He made His wonderful words to be remembered; The Lord is gracious and full of compassion.
Proverbs 23:5 - Will you set your eyes on that which is not? For riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away like an eagle toward heaven.
The Word is Alive in 1 - 5 (Reading Exodus 17 - 19) To complain exposes a lack of faith in God.
From "Knowing God" by J. I. Packer: Evidences of Knowing God - The 'comprehensiveness' of out contentment is another measure whereby we may judge whether we really know God.
MMM - just some thoughts: (1) Step 4 - tomorrow! (2) I was moved! (3) Am I having fun, yet! (4) It is not always fun to feel; but I am able now to feel!
Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
Be Still my soul! Your God will undertake
To guide the future as He has the past;
Your hope, your confidence let nothing shake;
All now mysterious shall be bright at last.
Be still, my soul! The waves and winds still know
His voice who ruled them while He dwelt below.
("Be Still My Soul")
