Givernment Work!
Good morning.  A cool front is moving through this morning.  Cooler, windy, and wet at least this

morning.  Low 70's with some clearing this afternoon.  It is a beautiful morning.

Day 1723 - Living "MNTY" one day at a time.  Today I will remember that it ALL matters and that it affects EVERYONE!  Just so glad it ALL does not happen at the SAME time.  Living on the edge produces great faith, and sometimes great fear.

Today is MMM and then whatever - 'they' want to do!  I do want to get to the gym sometime this morning. If They do not want to do anything, I may mow the yard.  Or just sit and enjoy the new gliders we got for the back patio.  They are really nice and I got them at a really great price.  But it is time to start getting rid of and rather then getting more of!

Yesterday was a good day.  At work, I finished setting up the E/E area and got a lot of stuff put out.  Marv and I enjoyed our men's meeting at church - it was a perfect evening and good food.

Tomorrow is Church, at least for me, and then we are cooking out - steaks!  YooHoo!  We will make use of our new patio furniture and enjoy the Sunny South Florida weather.  Baptism and Dinner on the Grounds at Church.  We plan to go the see the Framptons in Hobe Sound Sunday night - maybe the Cooleys will go.

Jean and Marv are leaving on Tuesday - I think they are anxious to get back to the snow and ice.

MY RUDDER AND ANCHOR!

Psalm 116:5,6 - Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; yes, our God is merciful.  The Lord preserves the simple; I was brought low, and He saved me.

Proverbs 24:32-34 - When I saw it, I considered it well; I looked on it and received instruction:  A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest; so shall your poverty come like a prowler, and your need like an armed man.

The Word Alive in 1 - 5 (Reading Exodus 20 - 22) - We enjoy the peace of God when our desire is:  "Whatever pleases You, Lord, pleases me."

From "Knowing God" by J. I. Packer: Knowing, and Being Known - What were we made for? To know God.  What aim should we set ourselves in life? To know God.  What is the eternal life:  "that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent" (Jn 17:3).

MMM - just some thoughts:  (1)  Step 4 - Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves.  (2) If you stay here long enough you will come to know who you are!  (3) It is a lifetime experience.

Saved by GRACE. . . Living by FAITH,
Mike

A Prayer:
O Lord, Forbid that we murmur and complain.
Grant us humble and submissive hearts
 under Your mighty hand.
Teach us to wait and watch
for Your final and holy purposes in all things.
