Day 1715 - Living "MNTY" one day at a time. Today, I will remember that with God, little is much, enough is enough, and more is for sharing!
Today is Church - going by my self and will have to leave as early as I can. We are going on a river cruise this afternoon at 1:00, we start boarding at 12:30. Then dinner at Twisted Tuna. It was all planned for yesterday, but the cruise was canceled. And Joe and Arlene canceled their winter party too - not enough were able to come.
Yesterday we met Ray and Marylee at the Family Store and they bought the lift chair I set back for them - I got them a real deal - saved them at least $400. on the purchase of a new one, and this one was just like new. We then went to lunch at GC and on up to BPS to look around - no one bought anything! Then we went on up to Vero Outlet Mall and they look at Coach purses - Jean bought one. I looked at wallets but they did not have any for under 10 dollars - or under 40 dollars! When we got home I finished fixing the light on the back patio. Progress is finishing, right?
Learned that Jeff was changing jobs again, hope he stays with this one. I cannot afford his changing jobs!
MY RUDDER AND ANCHOR!
Psalm 81:1,2 - Sing aloud to God our strength; Make a joyful shout to the God of Jacob. Raise a song and strike the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the lute.
Proverbs 18:2 - A fool has no delight in understanding, but in expression his own heart.
The Word is Alive in 1 - 5 (Reading Exodus 2-4) You are a vital part of God's plan to reach others.
My Notes on THE SUNDAY SERMON:
FROM A SLAVE, TO THE SAINTS
"An Exposition of Paul's letter to the Philippians"
( Philippians 1:3-7 )
JOY ACCOMPLISHED!
In our 'depressed' world, and in our church full of 'depressed' Christians, Joy is the cure and Jesus is the source of that Joy!
Our joy is sufficient in Christ, and satisfied in our service to others.

Paul's joy in Christ for the Philippians was expressed in his:
1. Remembrance of their "participation in
the Gospel for the first day until now." - v4,5
2. Thanks for their "defense and confirmation
of the gospel, you are all partakers of
grace with me." - v6
3. (next week)

"Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."
( I Thessalonians 5:16-18)
