Good morning. Up early again and down a half pound. So far a good start to the new year. It is a beautiful morning.
Day 2165 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time. Today I will remember that today well lived makes every tomorrow a vision of hope.
Today is MMM and then a little bookkeepping for AA and some more work on the room and back yard. Maybe the gym and maybe a little time at the beach. Maybe go out to dinner tonight, just to give Doris a chance to get out.
Yesterday was a good day. Put up the last of the Christmas decorations. Installed two new smoke alarms. Cleaned up the back patio. Doris talked to Phyllis for a while.
Tomorrow is Sunday - church and rest! Getting ready for a six day week at the store. Cool front coming in the first of the week.
Doris has appointment with Dr Rosen tomorrow. We pick up the Cooleys Thursday. I am so tired, I need a short vacation - maybe next month? No, got to get ready for the Missions Trip - I guess I could consider that a vacation - at least it will be getting away and out of myself!
Doris's brother and sister, Donnie and Jeannie, and their spouses are coming to Florida in a couple of weeks - but they are going to the west coast. We may or may not see them. They will have to come see us - we do not have any way to go see them. They will be in in New Port Richey.
'TILL THE STORM PASSES OVER!
Psalm 6:9 - The Lord has heard my supplication; the Lord will receive my prayer.
Proverbs 2:6 - For the Lord gives wisdom: out of His mouth comes knowledge and understanding.
Lean on the Word in Sixteen - (Reading Genesis 4-6) It did not take long for Adam and Eve's sin nature to become evident.
Hope for Each Day (with Billy Graham) - "The Sun Still Shines" They looked...and behold, thre glory of the Lord appeared in the cloud. (Exodus 16:10) Whatever clouds you face today, ask Jesus, the Light of the World, to help you look behind the cloud to see His glory and His plan for you today.
MMM - just some thoughts: (1) Step 5 - Gary lead (2) Admitted (3) ...the need for complete honest. (4) Honesty leads to tolerance. (5) It has a name and some one has done it!
Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike and Doris
